Every battery is fully tested and comes with the printout of the test report which shows the capacity and charge/discharge graph. You can select the tested capacity from the drop down menu.

The cable that is cut is not necessary for using this battery. It only communicated to a computer program. The BMS inside works like normal and most customers never use that cable anyway. You can save some money buying these with the cut cable and it’ll work the same.

If you want to series connect them you should charge each module fully then connect in series. You can also parallel them. These are one of the most trusted and best built batteries on the market. They are used in many hospitals. Bolts are also included.

You can series up to 4 to make 48v modules.

    These batteries were recovered from slightly used modules with laser welded connections. Only a few left at the moment.

    At this price, if you are comfortable welding aluminum tabs or have a laser welder this is a great deal. We get asked about being able to tap and die into the studs and the answer is these cells have a tab that is roughly 10mm thick but of course you don’t want to go that deep if you do try that. We obviously can’t recommend doing this but if you want to give it a try at your own risk maybe limit the depth of your thread to 6mm or less.

    This calculation also takes into consideration the maximum continuous amp ratings of the cells.

    You will need M8 x 1.25 nuts for the cells. If you want to add balance leads to the small threaded insert you can use M3 x 0.50 short bolts maybe 1/4″ long would be ideal. Nuts and bolts are not included but they are very common. You can find them at most hardware stores, eBay, and Amazon.

    These batteries have cells that are perfectly balanced but they need a BMS. We cut each lid open so you have easy access to the cells inside with the balance leads. The most common issue is the BMS bluetooth locked out the BMS on a lot of them. So all 4 cells will be well balanced and they will test great. Just have to add a BMS. All of these batteries can be series connected into 24v, 36v, or 48v then you can just add 1 overall BMS.
