At this price, if you are comfortable welding aluminum tabs or have a laser welder this is a great deal. We get asked about being able to tap and die into the studs and the answer is these cells have a tab that is roughly 10mm thick but of course you don’t want to go that deep if you do try that. We obviously can’t recommend doing this but if you want to give it a try at your own risk maybe limit the depth of your thread to 6mm or less.

They are not capacity checked but we check each battery and make sure they are balanced, the light comes on, and the voltage is good. To turn on the battery just hold the button in for 3 seconds. They will charge and discharge like normal after you turn on the batteries.

We cut open each battery and checked the cells to make sure they all have good voltage and are balanced. 4s lifepo4 BMS units are very cheap and we have them here on our website. The 30a BMS units would be nice to add to these and very easy since the balance lead wires are accessible.
